This app is a frame for the web app. The advantage of using this app is that you get an experience much more similar to a native app, with several additional features (see list below). SpotCommander must be installed on the computer running Spotify (see website for instructions).

SpotCommander is a remote control for Spotify for Linux, optimized for mobile devices. It's based on HTML5 & PHP, works on any device with a modern browser, and it's free and open source.

There is a lot more to the story, but I think it's best we do not ruin it for you. I have the feeling that most people will say that this trailer is the best part of the new Indiana Jones, because it shows him in front, but save that discussion for the Sound Off.
